It has propagated via &#8216;bogus&#8217; emails containing\u00a0\u00a0a link. <strong>Do\u00a0NOT click on the link<\/strong>. When activated this malware automatically emails everyone on your contact list.\u00a0GM1SXX has cleared the issue on his machine now.\u00a0 Everyone who has received one of the &#8216;bogus&#8217; emails needs to remove the malware to stop it spreading. GM1SXX\u00a0recommends downloading and running the free version of &#8216;Malware Bytes&#8217;. This detects and deletes the malware programs on you system.\u00a0Standard anti-virus applications do not do this.\u00a0He also recommends that your Internet Browser is set to automatically delete all temporary files. The location for these files is where the malware is stored. For users of Microsoft Internet Explorer the settings can be changed\u00a0using\u00a0&#8216;Tools&#8217; on the menu bar (see below).<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Tools&gt;Internet Options&gt;Advanced<\/strong> Tab<\/em><br \/>\nScroll down to <em>&#8216;<strong>Security&#8217;<\/strong><\/em> then tick the box for <strong><em>&#8216;Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed&#8217;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0URL for the free version of Malware Bytes is given below.
