Last night at the club ( Thursday 22May 14)\u00a0 we took a quick look at WSPR (Weak Signal Propagation Reporter). This is just one of K1JT, Joe Taylor’s weak signal modes.<\/p>\n
WSPR (pronounced ‘Whisper’) is a digital mode which provides automatic worlwide propagation reports for your station. These are uploaded to the web by all WSPR users. A common database allows all reports to be viewed in table form or as a world map.<\/p>\n
The basic requirements are a PC, WSPR software, a radio receiver\/transmitter, and a network connection (if you want to access the database \/ maps)<\/p>\n
